How It Started
As a classroom volunteer, the Provision Packs founder-Carrie Torres saw childhood hunger firsthand.
Shortly thereafter, she founded Provision Packs – a food supplementary program aimed to supply nutritional assistance to low – income children and their families with ease of accessibility and execution.
When we were engaged by Provision Packs their communication and imagery were diffused and confusing. The message was lost in a sea of data about hunger in the area, the state, and America. The messaging wasn’t compelling and never tap into the emotion of the issue. A lot of data, a lot of facts, a lot of statements, but no story.
At D2 we are strategists, thought leaders, communication specialists, advertising experts and execution phenoms. However, and perhaps most importantly, we are also story tellers. We take the audience on a journey. We travel down a path of discovery and enlightenment with each step deepening our understanding, engagement, and commitment. Our reader does not traverse down this path with reluctance or foreboding, but rather with eagerness, excitement, and anticipation. We are taking them on a journey to a predetermined destination. An arrival point selected by us. A destination that is understanding, commitment, and action.
First, we created some visual representations of the process and how food gets distributed to the children
Next, we introduced QR codes and digital elements to migrate their data collection and fundraising activities to the cloud.
we refined the message on their website and marketing with a few simple statements supported by compelling imagery. Simple, but very compelling and on point. The beginning of the journey down the path.
If you believe: children shouldn’t go to bed hungry….
If you believe: children shouldn’t go to school hungry….
Then you believe in Provision Packs
Three statements. It has been a very quick journey, and the reader is hooked. We turn complexity into simplicity. Enhance our dynamic words with powerful graphic design and stunning imagery.
The results: The donations poured in, and the volunteers line up to help.
The Bottomline They were right, they could do better. And we were honored to partner with them and work shoulder-to-shoulder together to help them not only achieve but surpass their goals.
